What is the difference between a product warranty and a linear power warranty?
Separate photovoltaic module product coverage from published power-retention commitments and review both documents.
Short answer
A product warranty and a linear power warranty address different subjects. In the current Sunhorn English datasheets, five models list a 15-year product warranty and two list a 25-year product warranty; all seven list a 30-year linear power warranty. The applicable issued terms still control scope, conditions, exclusions and remedies.

Check what each document covers, excludes and requires. Warranty duration does not explain claim eligibility, evidence, remedies or responsibility for related costs.
Keep the exact model path visible
SH18-54H-D, SH21R-48H-D, SH18-72H-D, SH21R-66H-D and SH21-66H-D publish 1% first-year degradation, 0.4% annually thereafter and 87.40% retained power at year 30. SH21R-192H-D and SH21R-264H-D publish 1%, 0.35% and 88.85% respectively. These are datasheet fields, not a substitute for the issued warranty.
Record the full claim path
Keep purchase records, serial information, installation evidence and required test procedures. Commercial teams should not promise remedies beyond the issued terms.
Check the curve without inventing legal coverage
The published SH21R-192H-D summary permits an arithmetic cross-check, not a complete warranty interpretation.
